Cranberry, Oat and Seed {No Bake} Granola Bars

Jump to recipe

I love the combo of oats, seeds and nuts!…And to have these ingredients nicely mixed up into a tasty low FODMAP on-the-go bar…really works for me.

Ta dah! Introducing a super yummy no bake granola bar…seed and nut granola bars

I have shared other granola bars and energy bites on my site but this recipe is a little different.  For one, they are addictive. {Ha!} For two, the nut flavor is more subtle. I did add a little dried cranberries for a hint of fruit (within the Monash University 1 tablespoon limit per serving).

With this recipe, I experimented with a little golden syrup. Golden syrup is a low FODMAP suitable sweetener made of sugar cane syrup. It is sticky so works well in making homemade granola bars.Golden syrup

These bars are a great treat for a child’s lunch box or a yummy grown up snack. 🙂

I used steel cut oats but you can easily sub in old fashioned oats too.
