Donate to IBS Research

Hello Friends!
As you know, it is IBS awareness month and via the #IBelieveinyourStory campaign, I am on a mission to change the future of IBS.

As you know, treatments for IBS are currently suboptimal. Most medications have side effects and don’t work for many. The low FODMAP diet is effective in managing symptoms in about 50-70% of IBS sufferers–which is great news….BUT, this means 30-50% of patients do not benefit.

IBS patients need and deserve more.

A big part of the #IBelieveinyourStory campaign is to raise critical funding for IBS & SIBO research. This morning, I donated to both Mark Pimentel’s lab at Cedars Sinai and William D. Chey’s at University of Michigan. Please consider donating too. Click here to donate.

University of Michigan has put up a great information page for IBS awareness, click here.

When you donate, feel free to use the image below on your social media channels along with the #IBelieveinyourStory hashtag.

Let’s show the world that we are in it to win it!

Together–we can make a difference in this underfunded and underappreciated illness.

There are other ways to raise funds for research too!  Fody Foods is donating $5 for every purchase of their limited edition, #IBelieveinyourStory bundle. This awesome bundle includes: The Low FODMAP Diet Step by Step book authored by yours truly and Dede Wilson, and an assortment of FODY Foods’ low fodmap certified products… yummy dark chocolate bars, almond coconut bars, marinara sauce, salsa and taco seasoning.

I have tried each and everyone of these products and can assure you they are super yummy!!  Shop FODY foods here.

And if you haven’t seen the #IBelieveinyourStory video, click here.  I believe the video reveals the true reality of IBS and why we all need to help be part of the solution.
