Fall Events and Flavors for Low FODMAP Diet Followers

Hey Friends!

Are you feeling all the “Fall Feels” lately?  I do love all the beauty during this time of year in New England.  We just closed up our little Maine cottage for the winter and I am gearing up to take on some house projects back at my real home!

I have been busy traveling and speaking this fall with 4 talks at Harvard Medical School, 2 talks at U. Michigan, a talk in Las Vegas for Gastroenterology/Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers, a media briefing on Food Intolerance at Food and Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE) all while trying to kick it back a bit to heal my post concussion syndrome.  I am feeling better but still trying to relax a bit more. (Can you tell I am not a good relaxer?) 😉

In other news, I had the honor of writing a piece about the low FODMAP diet for The American Journal of Gastroenterology.  The article is about how I approach the low FODMAP diet. If you are interested in taking a peek, click here!

On October 19th, Toni Fiori and I hosted a low FODMAP + IBS workshop in Medway.  The event was a 2.5 hour workshop with some hands on activities.  We were grateful for the variety of free low FODMAP samples provided by FODY foods, Rachel Pauls Food, Casa de Sante as well as fun giveaways from FODY foods and 88 Acres.  If you’d like us to do another local workshop, let me know and what topics you are most interested in!

UPCOMING EVENT

On November 7th, I will be doing a low FODMAP cooking demo with Celebrity Chef Ming Tsai in Boston.  If you’d like to join the fun, I recommend signing up ASAP for this great event. Click here to learn more and register.
