Free Falling…

My son Kevin is home for his college break and we decided to drive to Nashua, New Hampshire and try out some free falling…

Yup, FREE FALLING!

Kevin and I signed up to go into a vertical wind tunnel that simulates free falling or skydiving.

How cool is that?!

We went to Sky Venture and had a blast for ourselves.  It’s always good to add a little adventure to life and truly step outside your box!

We arrived at the facility and suited up!  Helmets, knee pads and a full jumpsuit! HA!

After a 2 minute warm up session, we enjoyed another 3 minutes including a few trips up  the vertical tunnel (45 feet)-not quite to the top but high enough!!

What a great time with my son!kate flying

I love making memories with my children.  This was a special day for Kevin and I….one I will never forget.  A mix of fear, adventure, and exhilaration all rolled into one!  I love moments like this!

Don’t forget to get your adventure on.  It’s easy to get caught up in the fast pace of life or in stay too rigid in our routine.

What fun! Adventure, and Dr. Seuss both transcend age, that’s for sure!:) Have a question/concern, and no rush on the answer. I noticed the post about weight lifting and protein supp. and was wondering if you could elaborate? Our son is 17, avid lacrosse player, and runner/lifter. He has a very healthy, organic, balanced diet and is so interested in Whey Protein Isolate (Blubonnet-no hormone/antibiotics) specifically for recovery from a big workout at the gym (chained amino acids?–somewhat Greek to me). If there is a link you can refer me to that’s helpful, that’s sufficient. Thanks a bunch! Teenager=persistent
