Happy Thursday! I am so happy to share a fun give-a-way from my friends at 88 Acres today, a local Boston-based company that shares my love of wholesome yummy foods for on the go. 88 Acres helped fuel the 80 attendees at my recent Advanced Digestive Health conference I hosted in Boston with their nourishing and delicious chocolate and sea salt bars. (For those that missed it, we have a taped recording in the works…stay tuned!)
I travel a lot and when I do, I love to bring portable snacks that I know work to give me energy and keep my belly calm. These delicious 88 Acres Chocolate and Sea Salt bars work for me and many of my low FODMAP clients. Of course, they have not yet been officially tested for FODMAP content… like 99.9% of commercial foods here in the States!
I reached out to 88 Acres after I discovered (and fell in love, seriously) with the dark chocolate and sea salt bar while on vacation on the beautiful island of Nantucket. I found their tasty bar at Bartlett’s Farm (my lunch pit stop on my bike ride to the beach.) 88 Acres generously offered to provide some dark chocolate and sea salt bars as a give-a-way for one of my lucky blog followers! Woo Hoo! 🙂
All of 88 Acres bars are free of peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish. In fact, they don’t even allow those ingredients into their facility. 🙂
Not all 88 Acres bars appear low FODMAP… so as ALWAYs read ingredients…but the chocolate and sea salt looks low FODMAP to me and it is AMAZINGLY tasty with a mixture of low FODMAP seeds, oats and maple syrup and more.
So what do you have to do for a chance to win? Just leave a comment and say: “pick me!” And you will be entered! How easy is that!?!? 😉
