Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)
1 cup sugar
4 cups all-purpose unbleached flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup raisins
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter with sugar until blended.
- Mix in flour, baking powder and buttermilk.
- Fold in raisins.
- Add mixture to lightly oiled 9″ spring form pan.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes (until cake tester comes out clean)
- Bring my friend Meg and her son Jonah a piece ( oops, that may just be on my directions )
