Thank you! In the monash app they talk about butternut (squash in the US?) and jap. This last one is what we call pumpkin here in Europe. They advise 1/2 cup (60 grs.) I normally make my muffins with 200 grs. of homemade pumpkin purée and it makes 12. Better to make the maths and warn my readers about how many they should eat, then. There a lot of things to think about when developing an 100% low FODMAP friendly recipe. Thank you again, Kate :)

Joana, I am not sure I can answer that question. I know US canned pumpkin was tested and is limited ---but other forms of 'pumpkin' might be different. There is also a terminology difference country to country--some countries use the term pumpkin to refer to what we call squash here in the states. So....would check the Monash app and look at the pictures to be sure you are referring to 'pumpkin' or squash and what the specific limit is. Hope that helps.

Hello Kate! thank you so much for your info on the new Monash blog, it is another great tool for us low FODMAPers!

I have a question about pumpkin purée. Is there any quantity limitation if it is home made pumpkin purée?

Thank you!
