I appreciate your confusion...the low FODMAP diet is confusing! The Monash Team tested both dark chocolate (semi-sweet is considered dark) and brown sugar and they measured low FODMAP. Do you have a smart phone? If so, I would encourage you to download the Monash University low FODMAP diet app. By all means, none of us should be downing copious amounts of sugar and treats....but for special occasions and in limited amounts--using brown sugar and semi-sweet chocolate morsels is a nice treat and low FODMAP. :)]]></description>
