Hi Kate! Quick question! I have heard many times that fruit should be eaten alone or on an empty stomach. Now I know that this is a myth and eating fruit with other foods don't cause fermentation, indigestion etc. However I find that for me, fruit is best when eaten alone and usually first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. In your professional opinion, do IBS sufferers sometimes have issues eating fruit with other foods? or later in the day? Please let me know! (Just in case, the fruit I am eating is all LOW FODMAP but still, at times when I mix it with other foods, I get the gas, bloating and pain etc.

Hey Lydia-it could be the acid content but perhaps get food allergy tested to rule out allergies.

I love my smoothies ... Thanks for the recipe. I have been having trouble with strawberries and pineapple feel like they burn the inside of my mouth, so maybe too acidic? I have just started my elimination diet with good initial results, except for the fact that I almost fall asleep after I eat more than a snack. Not sure why.
